I found this Microwave stand and figured hot would be prefect for my bat tools and chargers. I put casters under it and it has a 4 outlet plug.

Along with a stash of more boards...

Hoping to get out to the bench today. Plumbing issues earlier this morning. I'm giving it time to manifest any issues in my work. Hopefully we are GTG.

Waiting on the shop to cool down a bit..Clothes Dryer always seems to get things a bit toasty ...but..

Backer board clamped up near the Baseline, to reduce vibrations...pins first, starting on a Half Tail..

Before this happened..

Had 2 rebates to mill..while on Laundry Detail..

I love a back saw. I need about 20, lol.

Household has been sick since Thursday. Pretty sure it's that thing that reared it's ugly head in 2020.

We shall overcome.

At least until I got the top clamped in place..

Then I had to move it over to the top of my tablesaw...

Picked up some molding planes a Disston saw, some try squares and a couple bevels. Evaluating for repairs and organizing. Also found an old folding ruler to harvest for the boxwood.

Man.... I love old molding planes!  I don't use them much, but there is something about them I find very appealing.

Yeah, I think they’re great. I’m slowly working towards a full set of hollows and rounds. I’m also picking up dedicated molding profiles along the way. 

I suspect your growing collection is delighted to have a new home in your shop.  😉

I used to collect metal labels off of old furnaces and boilers. Mostly pre-WWII, some into the '60s, some even pre-WWI.   A history professor called them a collection of 'cartouches'.

 

The late 1920s designs were my favorites.  Industrial might and Art Deco combined.

 

In the days of telegraph, your logo spoke volumes.
