Not a fan of the snake on the rock though but the Henry label products would resolve that.😆 I'll have that bench for the rest of my life Gramps. It is special, and it's served me well. All due respect to the builder of the bench, it didn't take long for me to see it's shortcomings but I've worked around them, but those shortcomings are related to me, not the builder of the bench, he built the bench for him, and we all have our own way of working. When we move I plan on building my bench for me, and this current bench will be a secondary bench in my new shop whatever it may be. Big Henry fan here too! 🙂
October 14, 2025Oct 14 Popular Post I don't know...do you think I should be doing a "Build-along" thread about this box? I mean, since I already have done a glue up... Pine rail in the center? To keep the long sides from bowing in... We'll see....

October 26, 2025Oct 26 Popular Post Been steadily moving my boards for some euro mounts towards the finish line. The rustic barn lumber board will have a curly maple shelf for a couple of items of interest. Spent a minute cleaning up all my maple board edges from my jigsaw before I get the router out for them. Yes it's the slow way of doing it but I can do it right there off my bench watching my unsolved mysteries without dragging tools outside.
October 26, 2025Oct 26 Popular Post A LOT LESS! Today was a shop cleaning day I tripped over a tool box yesterday. That did it. Even today I spilled my coffee, TWICE, during the cleaning. I did find a box of old spindles that made a nice lamp.
October 28, 2025Oct 28 Popular Post Currently sitting on the bench... Got the 4th corner dovetailed, so I could glue up the box... This was also on the bench, today... Had 4 rebates to do....and made a mess of my floor.. Waiting on glue to cure, again..
