Q:  Why does a chicken coop only have two doors?   A:  Because if it had four doors, it would be a sedan.

Gene, here is a little how to from a few years ago, when I had a stationary table saw, but now I have my Shopsmith, and I am going to create a little tutorial on how to do them on a Shopsmith, it's quite different. I'll also add more pics to the cabinet topic later this week to catch up on that. For now, here is the old tutorial.

Pantry looks good!

Seems there is a problem with the latest handplane..

Instead of the normal shavings...that is a ball of stringy things....seems the first 1/8" is a land of pits..will have to grind the edge back to remove the pits, and reshape an edge...and then resharpen....

Might take a day..

Did you know that Granola is the state cereal of California?  It's appropriate, fruits, nuts and flakes.

Nicely done Kevin. Good to see you posting up again. Hope you don't need that to dig out from the snow up there.

@frenchwwr...you are quite creative with an artistic eye for re-purposing. Sweet collection of Japanese saws too.

It's never going to be any more than a 'user' with this chip in the bed.PC240069.JPG.6b462228981c80771855befb16711966.JPG

During the calm before the alleged storm I spent today finishing the plane.
