Picked these 7 planks at Lowes the other day...1/2" x 6" x 24" Project Boards

Just over $5 each...

Might be a few days before I figure what to build out of this stash...

You'd think the shipping cost would be prohibitive!

Shipping costs were Lowes Problem.....might be why they are $5.39 each?

Reduce the labor 25% and make a 3-sided box. Still time before you make another 90 degree corner.

 

Guess I just like ones with 4 corners..

Easier on my brain, that way...

Guess it is good I didn't suggest a box with just 2 corners.  Not that hard if you can steam bend your boards into  90 degree arcs.

I got stuck on the good, bad , ugly theme and time for the roof came. I got physically wiped out and have been house bound. My wife loves it, she calls me Hazel..

It was out and about, get things ready for a glue-up..

Trying to make 4 pieces look like one...

Who am I trying to kid? I haven't been near my workbench in months. These are on the kitchen counter. More convenient and far warmer. 

I'm just waiting on my garage shop to thaw out.  No rush to finish my current furniture project.  Small project I finished yesterday was to repair the ends of a shelf so I could put it back to use.   Rear corner broke out.  Shelf ends have a t-slot that slips over screw heads. Cheap melamine coated particle board.  I CNC cut out a 3mm recess on the ends and CNC cut a filler piece from 3mm baltic birch plywood to glue into the recess.  Seems to work fine.   

That’s my problem. The shop is in the 50’s , but I like it at 75. Don’t  want to pay to turn heat up unless I can commit all  day to the shop.No point in heating it up to stare at it all day..

I seem to recall someone famous say "a router in every shop?" Or maybe it was "a pot in every shop?" IDK, seems like there was a chicken involved too? Maybe the chicken said that??

I thought rhe chicken said, "Eat more beef".

Norm Abram never changed a router bit...he changed routers...each set up with a different router bit..
