October 7, 20241 yr Popular Post NIce looking stuff going on, finally got into shop for a quickie, managed to find a cheap dewalt planer, so had to build a flip cart for it and a sander, needed to get my shop carts back for moving material around, i'll put up some pics, nothing special, quick plywood unit, not real pretty just functional is for my needs, managed to give m a coat of urethane to keep splinters down and help with dust control. my older small delta is having issues, dang thing has been a staple in shop for decades, i use it for small stuff the bigone is so loud, but its a dandy. work in shop will begin asap, have a friend who is building a new house, he is a gun person much like myself, his new vault is 20x20 with concrete lid and vault door, so we have on our agenda to build racks for his collection, gonna be a whole lotta racks for sure. not sure i wanted to, but the trade for the work is in my favor, happy monday, off to the shop, have the 3d printer making some stuff, see how my design works out. rj in az

October 18, 20241 yr Popular Post I just finished another 3 stave lamp. The staves are from a wine barrel and the clarinet is a Boosey & Hawkes from England and for once it's not a beginner's instrument. I was commissioned to build it for a benefit auction at a local private school.
October 18, 20241 yr Started on Door #4... Since Door #3 is waiting on glue to cure.. Be a day or 2...
