Q:  Why does a chicken coop only have two doors?   A:  Because if it had four doors, it would be a sedan.

This afternoon I started the restoration of a 1930ish 14" Heston & Anderson Bandsaw. I'm not sure how much restoration vs just getting it running I'm going to do. It needs tires and a drive belt. This will give me enough time to figure out whether I want to convert it to 110V or make the big jump to a 220V circuit in the barn

Sweet!  Might be able to rewire the motor for 110V.

  • Popular Post

The motor can be rewired, but while I'm at the crossroads of 110 & 220, with a delay I want to think long-term (220) vs the cheapest quickest way (110)

Then I started working on a couple of boxes for this weekend.

("I know waiting until the last minute, 'But it just two hardwood boxes, couples of hours at most' ")

That's when the drive belt on the planer shredded, the new one(S) will be here Thursday.:BangingHead:

Pieces are all cut and jointed
