THANK YOU for all of your best wishes, thoughts and prayers. My mother had just turned 97 in April. She had a very full life, but her time had come. Things are hectic and trying at the moment as I am essentially alone to perform all of the arrangements. However, I am still trying to maintain my sense of humor at this time. So, I will share this story with my friends and family here on the forum. My father, who died in 1988, is interred in an above ground mausoleum. It is a "tandem" crypt. While making arrangements the administrator made the comment that my father had been inserted feet first and my mother will be inserted head first, placing them head to head. The poor girl, at first, didn't know how to take my comment, "...well, that's fitting, since they were usually butting heads". She thought about that for a moment and a smile appeared on her face. Bottom line, now is not the time for sadness, it is a time of joy and celebration. My mothers time of pain and suffering are now over, her race is run... Again, thank you to all for you thoughts and wishes. Bill
