Q:  Why does a chicken coop only have two doors?   A:  Because if it had four doors, it would be a sedan.

Slow week, did more with less. Pics for Doc, just sew'z he knows I'm still breathing. Here's a couple, a small sculpture and another tray. these days I'm favoring the medium-carbon steel BAHCO scrapers.

Well, with the round-up pic, guess I was busy after all ...

I'd say you were. All are really cool and unique. Really like the "hollow" log. Awesome imagination and execution.

nice looking stuff for sure,

been a slow week in shop, first time ever had issue with watco, had some older walnut flavor and it won't dry, been days, perhaps almost a week, sticky as can be, so..........me thinks it must be really old found some solids in the can, so........perhaps the Az heat caulderized it, lol.

so gonna grab another small can and give it a go.

been bundling up some of the wine barrel staves and selling, have almost made my $$ back from purchaseing all the pallets. easey peasy, lotsa artsie folks needing staves.

have gotten a lot of yard maint. accomplished, managed to fill 6x12 dump trailer full so a run to xfer station is on for tomorrow, then maybe i can begin the mortise of front door screen parts, today was wack a skorpian, whilst sorting thru staves, wacked a half dozen from large cricket size to small as a med size ant. little sukers are fast for sure. they no likely the cool air for sure.

happy tuesday, gonna cool down to the mid 50s, hey mentioned rain by end of week, hope not, i wanted to go after a few more pallets and a nice pallet of hardwoods i was offered. then no more wood buying till i use a gaggle of it .

happy days

What's on my Benches?

A FREAKING MESS and it's somewhat overwhelming.  I had too many emergent projects that had to get done  in rapid fire along with a slew of other things I couldn't put off;  I just got buried.

Finished assembling the third AND, LAST!! Limbert table....sans tops. So the bench is clear...for now. It's 03:15, now. As soon as Sol makes his appearance so I can keep from stumbling, I'll grab the last two Mesquite rounds and, start the cleaning process. SWMBO convinced me to clean the last two remaining rounds at the same time. I hate to admit it but, I guess she makes sense.:o At any rate, the bench (and floor) will soon be full of mesquite and mesquite remnants.

The first one has fully cured so, it can be sanded preparatory to it's final flood coat of resin. But, that'll have to wait until the cleaning process on the next two has been completed. I really need a seperate finishing room.

Looks hand stitched. Looking at the Corradi site, I can't find a 12" or equiv. like yours.

Nice tool but I am sure the cost it nice too. Too bad can't get that accurate work with power tools. I and do offset turning on lathe and get near but not quite the same profile. I am guessing hand sanding with the grain for finish.
