November 6, 20223 yr Popular Post comment_301755 What's on my Benches? A FREAKING MESS and it's somewhat overwhelming. I had too many emergent projects that had to get done in rapid fire along with a slew of other things I couldn't put off; I just got buried. Report
November 7, 20223 yr Popular Post comment_301768 Finished assembling the third AND, LAST!! Limbert table....sans tops. So the bench is clear...for now. It's 03:15, now. As soon as Sol makes his appearance so I can keep from stumbling, I'll grab the last two Mesquite rounds and, start the cleaning process. SWMBO convinced me to clean the last two remaining rounds at the same time. I hate to admit it but, I guess she makes sense. At any rate, the bench (and floor) will soon be full of mesquite and mesquite remnants. The first one has fully cured so, it can be sanded preparatory to it's final flood coat of resin. But, that'll have to wait until the cleaning process on the next two has been completed. I really need a seperate finishing room. Report

Too bad can't get that accurate work with power tools. I and do offset turning on lathe and get near but not quite the same profile. I am guessing hand sanding with the grain for finish. Report
