October 9, 20196 yr As of today we think I will file for disabilty. I'm have trouble with getting dizzy the day after dialysis. Had to work around saws when your trying to keep yourself upright....
October 9, 20196 yr Popular Post i have found over the last few years that my focus isn't the same. Projects in my head aren't getting built.A major decline in performance in the last 5 years. Still able to create things at my 8 hour job just less and less in my shop. I made 3 walnut blanks 2x12x8 ft long for a snap back table years ago and there still sitting. poker table blanks i finally gave away because i didn't see completing them.. October 9, 20196 yr Getting older just sucks some days. Some beautiful work you have shown. Now the upside is you can pass some of that knowledge and skill here. When one door closes in our lives the Lord opens another. One need only walk through the door to find what the next room looks like.

I've known a lot of cabinet makers over the years that have some really nice pieces the have built, but its never theres. A simple thought becomes a piece of furniture and it can make you or break you.

Hmmm, I see shelves, a frame for a door, a top and bottom shelf....add these into a 4/4 x 6 x 6' Ash plank I still have upstairs.....may have enough to build a cabinet to house all of my DVDs? We'll see... That old, HUGE, gas meter that hung above the tool chest of drawers....is now gone...replaced by a brand new outside gas meter! Lots more room to stash things over there...

October 9, 20196 yr Cabinet for dvd's. I was sorting dvd's and cd's one day when the son in law said "we use a stick now" Guess I'm old now... I got a 301 sony dvd player I guess I don't need anymore....
October 9, 20196 yr Popular Post I usually watch my DVDs on my computer, with the headphones...so I can turn the volume to "12" if I want.....drowns out loud GrandBRATS that way... maybe by this weekend, I can start up the Project...no rush.
