Morning Fred This casting thing is not really unique if you think about it, digging a hole for a fence post and backfilling with cement is pretty much the same. Different shapes and filler material but really just a different kind of hole in the ground.

From a neighbor's yew bush root ball of 200+ pounds to this small urn of 6 inches. A project of passion. I learned that yew dust can be pretty nasty stuff, yet the figure in the root ball is so cool, I would likely do it again, a lot smarter and quicker.
