Thanks Paul for sharing the details on the "ceiling tiles". I don't possess adjectives to describe the uniqueness of design coupled with your choice of woods. Your craftsmanship and attention for detail is amazing.

Today I got to return to the shop after the road trip. Not a lot of energy but managed to get all eight drawers assembled.

Good to hear and see you're back in the shop. I suspect it was a good way to unwind after the past several days? 

The dvd drawers are complete and first and probably only coat of finish applied. Tomorrow it’s mount them in the cabinet and get the DVD’s out of the closet finally.

Managed to get the drawers installed yesterday. Now I can focus on the ceiling and get the blanks out of the shop.

Here's a thought, what's going to happen to those drawers when the next entertainment media hits the market. I'm thinking back to the days of-

 

We were just talking about that last night. Most of those movies are available streaming  now so they are pretty much obsolete. There are a few that are not available on line but very few. They date from the time we lived aboard 10 Forward and DVD’s were our only form of video entertainment.

Very busy day in the shop. All of the blanks for the ceiling tiles are glued up and ready for processing.

Ceiling will weigh a Metric Ton.  

Hopefully we engineered it support the weight. Look at it this way. If we are wrong it will be an epic crash!

Today was getting the whole ceiling tile and divider thing organized. As Lew said this is the most repetitive and boring part of this project.
