Sorry I'm not closer or I'd offer to rig up a water-cutting and polishing stone shop on the driveway for your countertops. Still fixated on the drawers. So many dovetails, all precisely milled. What did you use for the bottom panel?
April 3, 20224 yr Popular Post That is most beautiful Paul! Thank you, thank you for taking us along with this remodel project. Good luck with the counter top. Do the people where you bought it from do cutting? I know it has to be frustrating to be this close to being done and then getting these (non) responses from the stone cutters.
April 3, 20224 yr Author Popular Post The bottoms are 1/4 walnut ply. Thanks for all the kind words. As for the stonecutters here I will eventually figure it out. We had two show up, do all the measuring and then not return phone calls. There is a lot of construction going on here and it’s a small job which is probably the cause. There are a few small pieces of walnut trim I will get to today and that’s it. Then it’s on to the next project. She hasn’t decided yet but it’s either start on a bathroom or tackle the stairs. I am taking a break to go work on the boat and get it ready for summer. After the total disaster on the HVAC, plumbing and the roof I am due for a break. Paul
