September 28, 20187 yr comment_161169 And John if you throw a little Sweet Baby's Ray's on it as you are sliding it into the oven its really hard to tell the difference of it and real barbecue. I'm talking about the real Texas style barbecue. But its funny for a lot of folks don't like to eat it indoors. Report
September 29, 20187 yr comment_161219 Wow, John. Didn't take long for your workbench to look a little like mine what with the piles on it. Report

My shop is in constant flux right now, one day it's clean, the next stuff is all over it. I have been moving "stuff" from one area to another, trying to make it all fit. Since I gave away my huge workbench/storage, things are having a hard time finding a home. Crazy. I got rid of all my machinery but for my lunchbox planer, all I got is my little ol Smithy, a workbench, a lathe, and a cutoff area, and it seems I have less room than I had before! Report
October 8, 20187 yr Author Popular Post comment_161994 Just playing around. Cleaned up a No. 7 and drilled a couple angled test holes for chair rungs. Hey, it's Sunday night, what else to do? Report
December 6, 20187 yr Popular Post comment_168574 I have decent organizational skills and a good habit of putting things back where they go. That said any horizontal surface in the shop is fair game for putting something I will, "get back to in a bit." LOL Report
December 7, 20187 yr comment_168631 @Gene Howe , Looks like you're busy! This time of year the tailgate is pretty much done for the season. Now it's more like what am I doing on the living room floor. Have to work where I can when I can. Report
December 7, 20187 yr Popular Post comment_168698 You all have such nice neat benches! I'm in the middle of building a rolling butcher block island (many of you helped with the block material) for our daughter and SIL. My shop is small and I have a tendency to not clean up a lot until the job is done. Carcass is in partial view here. About to start on the top and the doors. Report
