X brace.. connect the legs diagonally...

Stick, I'll pass this idea passed the design committee, aka my wife. We'll  see which one wins.

Q:  Why does a chicken coop only have two doors?   A:  Because if it had four doors, it would be a sedan.

I can relate with that.

And John if you throw a little Sweet Baby's Ray's on it as you are sliding it into the oven its really hard to tell the difference of it and real barbecue. I'm talking about the real Texas style barbecue.

But its funny for a lot of folks don't like to eat it indoors.

Wow, John. Didn't take long for your workbench to look a little like mine what with the piles on it.

My shop is in constant flux right now, one day it's clean, the next stuff is all over it. I have been moving "stuff" from one area to another, trying to make it all fit. Since I gave away my huge workbench/storage, things are having a hard time finding a home. Crazy. I got rid of all my machinery but for my lunchbox planer, all I got is my little ol Smithy, a workbench, a lathe, and a cutoff area, and it seems I have less room than I had before!

Just playing around. Cleaned up a No. 7 and drilled a couple angled test holes for chair rungs. Hey, it's Sunday night, what else to do?

I have decent organizational skills and a good habit of putting things back where they go.  That said any horizontal surface in the shop is fair game for putting something I will, "get back to in a bit."

@Gene Howe , Looks like you're busy!

This time of year the tailgate is pretty much done for the season. :(

Now it's more like what am I doing on the living room floor. :WhoMe:

Have to work where I can when I can. ;)

You all have such nice neat benches! I'm in the middle of building a rolling butcher block island (many of you helped with the block material) for our daughter and SIL. My shop is small and I have a tendency to not clean up a lot until the job is done. Carcass is in partial view here. About to start on the top and the doors.

You are one of the honest ones here Gary! That's how our benches really look!
