ole boss gal, says no parky there no more, lol.   mean ole thing she is, and well i'm outta room, i'm still struggling on how to get two 10 inch table saws in the now very small shop, the new one thats been setting on house patio is a sliding table saw on a 10 jet, so have to decide if i'm gonna get rid of one, as i've never used the jet, may have to give it a go before i decide, but sure do like my ole work horse the unisaw. hmm loyalty where does it end.

happy hump day from the land of dry heat, only gonna be 104 today 80 percent humidity so let the water letting begin

Ric, what criteria did you use to select the Inventables instead of the Shapeoko, or Longmill, or something else?  What supporting software are you using?

fair amount was the price that i picked it up for, way less than half of another maker, i was looking at the two you mentioned also, as for software, i'm just now looking into it, trying to figure out what i can figure out. lol, i'm far from a technical guy with electronics, i can build multi story up and or down buildings, but when it comes to computers and such, i'm a little old school. But with this purchase i'm hoping it will open another huge avenue of exciting projects, i'm slow to get going , but as i progress will share,

i have a couple weeks till i'm fully retired and have all the time in the world, once retired i'm planning on a long trip to visit friends and family in midwest, then back home to make it happen,

as noted will share what how i progress,

signing up for a five day course on cnc software, see how that goes.

thanks for inquiring

well day was or the am was spent helping a gent who drove up from Yuma to buy all my temp fence, wished' hed brought a trailer, but no, a pick up with a rack, so an old guy (me) and semi young guy (him) loaded 16 fence panels that were 14 ft x 7 ft chainlink temp fence panels on top his truck whew, kicked my keyster, once i recovered, had to deal with pool system, we had an ugly storm come thru last nite and our pool turned into a swamp again, took a couple hours to vac out the nasty.

then i spend some time sorting some brass to decap, and clean, as it was a set on your keyster job, needed to get off me feet for a while.

tomorrow, its fix a 500 dollar electronic lock one of the boys broke off two mounting screws, so gonna set it up in the mill and get some holes drilled and try and get broken screws off, and if that doesn't work gotta get some round stock drill and tap and then weld them on the existing stubs once i cut off the bad ones,

next week for sure gonna move my other table saw to the shop patio, and figure out if i can get it in side, and have plenty of space to do my dust making.

seems like a whole lotta stuff getting in way of me enjoying a day in shop, might scoot out tonite, and spend a few hours, even if its just to plan.

got the big green egg ready to do for smoking a pork butt tomorrow, yum, love me some oinker

Haven't had time to get to shop most of week, although i did spend some time in reloading shack, sorted and cleaned about 4k of .223 brass for future reloading, shooting season is around the corner, and i needed the zen time, reloading and working on it, get me extremely focused, usually afterwards i have figured out solutions to many issues in front of me, and well i really like reloading, one of the most simple things one can do, as long as attention is not lost.

happy friday, glad its here, maybe this weekend i'll get some projects completed ,although they say rain, and mo rain.

You guys in Maricopa County have seen a bit more than us, down here. And, we've seen a bunch. And, like you, more is expected this weekend.

well, managed to finally get the transmission cable on work truck completed, boy howdy that laying on ones back is rough some time.

picked up a PC profile sander, hopefully it will assist me and or the ole gal to in the juice grooves of her boards. me hands sometimes struggle holding the dowel with paper wrapped around it.

delivered one of my ''take a book, leave a book cabinets',  i built 3 including the one in front of my house, i'll get a picture and post, mines been up for almost a year and well used.

we were gonna put one in a friends yard, and he found out they have an adhoc, HOA, and they pushed back, he pays no dues, but they seem to think they have a say so. either way it'll get put up near him perhaps off site,

hoping to pick up about 130 sq ft of brazilian walnut flooring, full size 3/4'' thick and very nice looking, new stuff folks over bought, figured itd make some nice boxes, a little planning and walla, craft wood.

warmed up to 104, still muggy, have a slow week now that truck fixed and a few other things, might take tomorrow off and go visiting friends.

happy tuesday
