Ran across this. I don't use a belt sander much but this seems like a real deal. Reviews on another forum seem positive https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007A9TD3E/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B007A9TD3E&linkCode=as2&tag=bworkbench-20&linkId=ded9c5b75125d47a8e86b934df13b3b5&fbclid=IwAR2g9-n7uu6vmnZr9g_VeSqaDQu0dXRHYKqqjybgki4fdzyyeQ4WeR9WRE4 Aarg, just noticed it's for Prime members only.

I bought this about 6 years ago and it was never used. I just last week bought a BOSCH 1611 PLUNGE ROUTER to mount on it. Holes to mount a router has never been drilled. It is very hard to find any info on this machine. I'm hoping some one here has one or knows anything about what I have. I know it was made by Ten Fingers Corporation Texas. It's made to take both an upper and lower router. I can't wait to try it out. I'm not even sure what I'm going to make with it. It came with some extra parts that I don't even know what they are for. I was told it's a Model RAMR-S.

10 Inch Ryobi Miter Saw Review. For Shopping Links The Home Depot website lists this item at 134 dollars plus tax if applicable in your state. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-10-in-Compound-Miter-Saw-with-LED-TS1346/306939211 I did a search on Amazon.com and it appears that amazon does not carry the 10 inch Miter saw from Ryobi. So Set up with the Ryobi is pretty much PLUG AND PLAY. Of course youll have to hook on the clamp locking mechanism that it comes with how ever that you just drop into a hole thats pre drilled in the body of the saw bed. There is an OPTIONAL dust collection bag you can have on or off of your machine. The Miter Sa…

Can somebody explain this to me? https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-100-ft-10-3-Gauge-58-Extreme-Weather-Extension-Cord-758-103100RCL46/301210975 This cord, supposedly, is a 10 gauge. But is only rated for 15 Amps!!! Yet, other 10 gauge extension cords are rated for 20 Amps. In my limited knowledge/experience a 10 gauge should easily hold 20 Amps. Did I miss something? Somebody please enlighten me.

Got this 12 inch Grizzly a few years ago. At the time I did not have Dust Collection piped to where I put it. So I improvised and used a short hose and a bucket. it worked, not well but was better than dust everywhere. Finally got around to upgrading this bench and gave myself a few goals. I mounted the sander to a plate that locks in at the back to the bench. Just in case I need to move it, it will happen people. Then I decided I needed dust collection done right. The saw points the wrong way for the outlet so I had to get creative to reverse directions. Another goal was to store the sandpaper disc on the unit. I put that behind the sander. Cut a circle from 1…

Would this work for an old furnace blower motor where the motor runs a belt? It doesn't have a capacitor start just as said it required. https://www.wolfautomation.com/55ac10e-speed-control-variable-ac-voltage-supply/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzK6ezPPA6QIVIgiICR294wrhEAQYAyABEgKdIvD_BwE

Here is an interesting concept for spicing 120V wires where a junction box and cover would be unsightly in the final result. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Tyco-Electronics-Romex-Splice-Kit-2-Wire-1-Clam-CPGI-1116377-2/202204326 Herb

Has anyone gotten their Grizzly Catalog for 2021? I still get it even though I have not purchased anything from them in years, but I do love just perusing the pages, it's fun to look at!

So I did it. I ordered 3d printer due to it being on sale for very good price. I also found out on forum that there are filaments for making wood products. The filament actually contains wood particles. This filament can be sanded and stained like wood as well. If I understand correctly. I am not using this to replace my woodworking but to extend it. I will keep you posted on how things go. My plans for it wood working wise are like toppers for trophies for service dog agency for their charity events and apliques (didn't spell that right I know) I am not much for computer stuff so I could bomb this whole thing lol unfortunately the printer is coming from Wuhang Ch…

So I have been thinking about investing in 3d printer filament. I would like to know your thoughts on this. Do any of you use one? I am looking at many different applications. I found out you can even build your own CNC machine with a printer. But I was thinking of all the woodworking possibilities that one could bring besides just the obvious hobby for stuff for D and D type board game miniatures etc. I often do projects for a service dogs agency as well and was thinking of application it could bring to that as well. I will admit I have some trepidation on getting one. The main reason is I am not the best computer person but I am strong in the basics and things like maki…

Got some for some hot water radiator covers I have that need cleaning up. Spent more than I wanted, but took a chance Those things are not cheap. Anyway They are GREAT~!! They don't load up, they don't burn, they don't get dirty. They are like new each time I present them to the work. It's like they are fresh out of the package no matter how I use them on layers and layers of paint and rust. I haven't worn one out, but I'm going to try.

I did about 5 straight hours of sanding, renovating lawn furniture. The 3M-Cub2 disk finally gave out after 5 hours, the backing turning to lint. I put a junk disk (came with the sander) on it: it lasted about 15 minutes, then started disintegrating. The 3M-C2 face was still abrasive after failure; the cheapo was almost as smooth as the proverbial north-bound baby's south end. Simplifies my purchasing habits!

So I recently purchased some sanding discs from amazon. I'm a little odd about things like this buying something site unseen. How ever I recieved them this afternoon along with a couple of other tools I'll possibly do a review on after the fact. So this comes with 40 grit 80 grit 120 grit 240 grit 320 grit 600 grit and 800 grit disc sanding circles. I did use them and they honestly held up quite well. The higher up in grit I went I noticed the more material seemed to remove with ease. The 40 grit did quite well so on. They are listed at $10.99 on amazon market place. Aside from the delay that amazon has g…

I have a 6in Delta bench top joiner with a stand that I'm willing to give to a Vet in the Los Angeles area. All I ask is that you served in the military at some point and that you pick it up. It works great, I have new blades that I never installed, it was just time to upgrade. You can reach me through this posting and thank you for your service. Jaime
