The wife has been fretting about the 15 degree or so temps we've had.   I had to remind her that when we lived in Wisconsin, there were always one or two weeks a year where the high for the week was about -5 and the low could be -20  (one year we had -30 with -70 wind chill).  All the cars had little electric plugs hanging out their grills.

Hey Keith,

Quit It, I don't need reminding. <_<

You southern boys are killing me.  Tuesday night we lost our furnace motor and repairs can’t be made until December 28th.  Christmas day was a balmy 9 degrees here with a minus 6 degree wind chill and we heated with a couple of space heaters.  He have a backup fireplace wood burning insert if we need it but so far so good.  Needless to say, our house is tight and well insulated.

I'm sure @HandyDan,  @lew, @Al B, and @Artie would be more than willing to send a few inches of SNOW your way.

The last couple of days have been abnormally warm for us, other than the piles made by the plows, the snow is gone.

We had a good Christmas, all our kids home, and now is the day after Christmas, all has settled down, you know, this may be my favorite part of the Holiday Season, the day after, everyone is settled down, the hype is over, and we have leftovers to eat, and a sense of calm and feeling lazy.:D:P
