December 20, 20205 yr Author Popular Post We got the soffits up today. What a beating. Guess I’m not as young as I used to be ! Heavy overhead work is something I haven’t done in a while. But it’s done. The soffit was probably the last of the heavy stuff. Now it’s on to creating the grid on the ceiling. Paul
December 30, 20205 yr Author Popular Post Well the Xmas season has gone by and it’s back to work. Yesterday I began milking up the T track for the ceiling. Today I will start attaching the bottom rail to them which is the black walnut and then possibly tomorrow start getting them on the ceiling. Paul
December 31, 20205 yr Author Popular Post The day was spent milling up the molding for the ceiling brackets. Tomorrow will be spent laminating the molding onto the brackets and possibly getting a few of them up on the ceiling. Paul
January 4, 20215 yr Author Popular Post The last two days were spent completing the ceiling brackets for the panels. All overhead work so hard on the arms but this completes the bones of the room. From here on its wiring and smaller pieces. Paul
January 6, 20215 yr Author Popular Post Today was start on the frames for the LED lights. They are going faster than I expected so hopefully they will only take another two days to complete. There will be about 110 of them. I am using poplar for them for the sake of economy. Paul
January 6, 20215 yr Geez! That's a lot of thought and milling. This looks like a production shop. Love the work tables and all the work. I need a couple of towels to clean up the floor. Thanks, Paul.
January 6, 20215 yr Popular Post I am enjoying seeing all this done. Looking forward to when you turn on the lights. Always wanted to see a reactor dim from a heavy load.
January 6, 20215 yr Author Popular Post There aren’t that many watts up there. Each ceiling tile will have a dimmed or subdued light that will shine through the cut outs in the ceiling tiles. They are RGB and dimmable LED so she can control the color and intensity. Paul

January 8, 20215 yr Author Popular Post We spent the last two days milling up all the necessary pieces for the led light frames. It was a whole lot of resawing, jointering, routering and planing but it’s done. Now its cut the miters and glue them up. Paul
