Hooray Eric Cartman Sticker - Hooray Eric Cartman South Park - Discover & Share GIFs

A function we seemed to have lost is the ability to hi-light a text string in someones post, then only quote that portion of the post in the response post. It worked the first few days after the Update but not now; Lost the ability first on my Android phone, then a couple days later, my Android tablet.

I still get the "window" option to Copy, Cut, Paste, Search Internet, but do not get the smaller, independent, dialogue window "Quote."

I just tried it Gramps, and it didn't work the first few hovers, then is started working again, I had to clear system cache just a few minutes ago, troubleshooting other issues, but give it a try again please.

I tried it and had to do it a second time to get it to work.

Does it work thereafter Dan for the first time now?

OK, on my tablet I had to close out browser, close out and reopen site page. It does work now but oddly the "Quote" window, appeared in the lower, left corner of the active page vs just below the hi-lighted text. Workable that way now that I know where to find it on the active page.

Same here.

Followed the same steps on my phone as I did on my tablet. Quote option now works on phone with "Quote button" also appearing in lower left corner of Active Window.

So all's more gooder now; different but gooder😜

Thanks!

Showing good on my Android phone.

Seems to work better if you start highlighting the text from the end to the beginning of what you want to quote.

How's everyone doing with the new digs?

So far I'm Loving it! Sometimes I do get one of those alerts- "opps something went wrong" error when replying to a post, using my phone. Reloading the page fixes it. Haven't tried cache/cookies clearing on the phone yet. iPhone 16, iOS 26.2.1, Chrome browser. Other than that 👍

@lew , the mobile version is tops, far better than what we had before.

I’ve noticed that on a lot of websites lately, I’m thinking it’s more of an Apple thing versus the upgrade.

I think you pulled off a big upgrade with few hitches, I like the new look and features. Again, great job. Thanks.

Hey Gordon, forgot to get back with ya on your kudos earlier in this topic, regarding you having run a community or two and how well this all went, we greatly appreciate your feedback, that means a lot to us, specially from a prior forums administrator, thanks sir!
