Already watched the video on your channel Mike. Couldn't argue the price.😄

Thanks, Gramps! Appreciated.

I am at heart a teacher, mostly the Word, but other things as well. I hope I can pass on the little bit I know to others who will join people like us in actually making things with their own hands.

You twisted my arm

Videos were always embeddable, now we can copy paste a regular link from a website and the link preview will appear.

I set it for now to 10 days, do you think that is too long or too short?

too long.

2-3 days is my opinion

Is there a way to compress the opening forums list? It's a matter of paging down quite a ways now to get to the bottom, I'd like to shrink that somewhat.

I'm kinda into the new lay-out. I'll be checking it out in more detail the next few days. I didn't have to log in again etc...no hiccups on my account.

I agree. Perhaps a frame at the top with just the names of each forum and the name could link to the chosen forum listed below. Much quicker to find.

And anyone who wants to modify their view of our community.

Go to your profile avatar at the top right corner on desktop PC, and click on it, then click on Account Settings. Then click on Content Preferences. The swipe the "Change layout views" button to turn green if you need too. Then you can choose the layout view of all the areas in our community. Just play with it, and if you don't mind, report back and tell us how it went and what view you settled on.

I believe what you guys want is the "Table" view.

@John Morris , over the years I’ve been responsible for a couple web sites and forums so I know what a PITA an upgrade can be. So I wanted to say thanks for all the work so we can exchange ideas and help each other out.

A change I've noticed: I access this site (all my sites actually) on 3 different computers. I'm was still signed in on with each when I logged on. Now If i change computers I have to sign in (on this forum) each time I move to a different computer. I'm not sure many folks would have this problem, and it's only a slight annoyance....but it would be nice to not be signed out on this 'puter when I access from another one.

I haven't logged in on my laptop or desktop yet so can verify that, but after signing back in on my phone and tablet, I can switch from one to the other without login.

IIRC, during login there is an option box to check, "Remain logged in" or some verbiage similar.

Well, this is a box that says "remember me" and i have that checked. I think that keeps my login and password on hand to automatically fill those fields.

I liked the "unread content" link at both the top and bottom of the page. Now it's only at the bottom. (Picky, picky.)

It's at the top as well. It's that symbol to the far right of your name (or, in this case, my name).

I see a new right side panel but we lost our go to top arrow in the process. UGH!

I like the Up & Down arrows on the mobile version. Might be nice here, too

I was going to point that out so now I'll just second that - bring back the navigation arrow, please!

Working on it 😉

For now we'll have to use the "Home" button on our keyboards, but I am actively seeking a solution folks.
