The weather finally got nice enough to buy the wood this week, Yesterday I got most of the components cut out. Today I did a little bit of test fitting on the tallest section and did a little brain storming, more like brain gusting, on how to mount the adjustable shelves. This is what I will be working on this weekend. This will be the largest build I have ever taken on so I am taking it slow and easy to try to minimize the mistakes. Minimize IS a relative term. Looks like a very nice plan and project!
March 1, 20251 yr Popular Post @John Moody. Good to see you John; well not "see" you but you know what I mean. Hope all is well with you, Beth and family.
March 1, 20251 yr Popular Post Well I've been down in my back again since Thanksgiving. Been doing therapy and trying to get it back working again. My legs went numb and couldn't walk for a couple of weeks. Still some numbness in them but they are better. My son and DIL are over this weekend and painting and putting up shiplap in our kitchen. They ordered me out of the way so I made my way to my office which is in the shop. Trying to straighten up my desk so I can even type on the keyboard. Getting a shot in my back on Wednesday in the bulge at L3. Hoping it gets rid of the pain and numbness in my legs. Maybe then I can get bac in the shop and do a little work. Until then I'll just bring the donuts out here and check on what you all are doing.

Thanks @Grandpadave52. We are surviving (LOL) It seems I have reach that age in life where you get an overhaul. Just finished have cataract surgery in both eyes and now I can see. Just got to get this back going. I had surgery on it back in June of last year and everything was great until thanksgiving and it just went somewhere without me. Other than that we are doing fine.
March 1, 20251 yr Popular Post Guess this means no more pack train trips to the wood stash . Here is to hoping you get back to motivating around.

March 1, 20251 yr Popular Post @John Moody Seems like that back stuff might be contagious. I'm hiding out till you all get better.

Then last September, bladder surgery and a light stroke coming out of anesthesia. These "golden years" are consuming the gold fast. About all I'll have left is what remains in my teeth until they realize that on a CT. Scan. Beings you've volunteered to bring donuts, stop in as often as you can please. Since I don't move as fast as I did, all I get here anymore is the crumbs. Edited March 1, 20251 yr by Grandpadave52

Saving it as a screen shot doesn't allow you to fill it out on the computer. It's supposed to be a fillable pdf file that allows you to fill it out and then print. The instructions download and save fine. The save "floppy disc" icon next to the printer icon is missing on both the 1040, and 1040SR forms. Have to wonder if D.O.G.E isn't involved. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/doge-deletes-agency-behind-login-gov-irs-direct-file-other-tech-projects/ar-AA1A5USE?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=933b1929f9eb4a82f73aa6f5a9ff6261&ei=627 State fillable pdf's downloads properly.
March 2, 20251 yr Larry, I'm on a Mac so this may not help....but I just searched 1040 PDF, got a link right away, and it was a fillable 1040. I could also save it as a pdf on my computer. Maybe you got the wrong form, I know I usually just print one and flll it out by hand. That one I use is not a PDF file. Here's where i went for that. Regardless, good luck.

Thought it might be a Windows 11 problem so tried downloading from two different Windows 10 machines with the same results. I'll have to see if it works on the Zorin OS Linux machine.
March 2, 20251 yr Author @Fred W. Hargis Jr Could you check to see if the floppy disc icon is highlighted?
March 2, 20251 yr I don't have a floppy disk option, that may be because my computer doesn't have a floppy drive. Here's the corner shot of what i get. When I click that box with an arrow I get a pop up that asks me where (on the hard drive) i want to place it. Edited March 2, 20251 yr by Fred W. Hargis Jr

When I click that box with an arrow I get a pop up that asks me where (on the hard drive) i want to place it. That's basically the same as the "floppy disc" icon on windows. Looks very similar to the icon on the Zorin OS Linux. I managed to get it to download on the Zorin OS Linux machine but now have to figure out how to get it to my MS machine. Guess this may take a bit longer than I planned.

March 2, 20251 yr Author Appears to be a Microsoft Edge browser problem. Son got it to download using FireFox on his W10 machine. I'm to frustrated to mess with them now today.
