Finished the trim around the perimeter of the ceiling.  Had to make my own version of a bender as nobody had one I could rent or borrow this weekend.  No problem.  As @steven newman would say, "we have ways."  Of course a few obstacles to work around but got it all done today.  Even got the outlet painted and mounted again.  Previous use in life was for Christmas lights on the house.  Those days are gone but hey I might need them, or a future owner so they stayed just go some fresh paint. Even put them in conduit, @Artie  with covers.

Cats of course inspected, and supervised.

So when you walk up to the house in evening this is what you see when the motion lights come on, no flash used.

Next up is repairing attic steps.  Seems the hardware used was cheap and over the years a few bolts have broken.  Already had to do a emergency repair to keep it functional.  Minor detail work but you know this is where the time gets eaten up.

Thanks.  Helped a guy out this morning in a electrical truck.  He had a banged up hand so between the two of us we had one good set.  Got to talking with him over some coffee and come to find out he is with IBEW.  Oddly I pass that place every morning and never thought to drop in and ask a question.  Mentioned it to him and he tells me to stop in and he will hook me up with becoming a electrician.

Now that is kinda scary.  Cut me loose on some 440 or 880.  Yeah maybe not.  :JawDrop:

Having just pulled 50' of 10-3 through the joists in my basement ceiling, I have even more respect for the work they do.

Had to paint these motion sensors white from the factory grey and faded plastic.  Took a few nights of painting but worth the results.

Both sensors control one set of lights.  If I enter from the front of the yard, or from the back gate they come on.  Very nice detail and plenty of light to see by.
