September 12, 20169 yr As per usual I'm a day late and a dollar short. I must have missed the memo on the "dictionary"
September 12, 20169 yr So where is this "dictionary"? Do you just type in an abbreviation and if it is underlined, it is in there? SSDD?
September 12, 20169 yr One of the things I hated most when moving my professional focus from electronics to computers was having to learn a new, extensive (and sometimes silly) list of acronyms. Sometimes I think woodworkers take this even farther. Example- "Tried the BS to make DT but needed the ROS to trim the WP material. Needed to cleanup the WB of spilled BLO" Why do we need to write in "code" and we're not sending text messages or Tweets! Here's how ridiculous it has become (and this is just one list)- http://www.hobbithouseinc.com/personal/woodpics/_acronyms.htm Edited September 12, 20169 yr by lew
