Hope your hiatus was not health-related, mental or physical.  My dad is 88 and I'll take a couple months off at some point, probably swim and beach comb in rural Hawaii.
 
I was away for six weeks then another week over the summer.  Limited laptop, and I cannot get my phone to save usernames and passwords (gives me a headache to surf on the phone).
 
I've used the gallery as a repository and successfully downloaded images I wanted to use on an instagram reel.  I've set copyrights to TPW on anything not used on my blog, so that'll give forever.
 
There are a couple new iphone screen savers uploaded but it's all the same.  Wood, wood, and more wood 
 
I've been honing my social media efforts but keep that strictly away from this forum. Don't even tell acquaintances or family about it.  Want the creative process as unaffected by opinions of others as possible.

Well, based on this situation posting status updates, I researched a little bit to find out if we can get recent status updates on the forum home page, and we can! And we did, thanks for spurring the thought Dovetail, if you go to the Forum home page, and look in the right column, you'll see member status updates.

Thanks for checking in!  I figured Activity was content more hidden but admin would see it eventually. Appears to be a non-issue.  
 
More good news: Several series of project images I mistakenly deleted from my computer [and backup] are on my ex-MIL's email server. She saves everything!

Thanks for the welcome...  I am quite enjoying this site thus far.  I had joined a couple other turning forums as well, but at this point they are barely even getting any new posts.  They had a decent response the first two days after I joined, but by the third it is like everyone went poof and vanished.  This site seems as though it will have a little more staying power.
