      Looks like a sideboard to me. Though usually the antique ones of years past circa 1780 -1880 had mirrors on it and little shelves off the mirrors. Like this:

    I'm thinking about building one of those.....I have enough second hand flea market tools to kit out a second chest. I know that is not a tool chest. I think it's Paul's Desktop Organizer. But I'll just build 'er big, lol. May as well. But we have had rain constantly for the last five days, so it will have to dry out here as well.

    Top 2 drawers of the New Sideboard are now filled up...and one door is getting filled up, too.
