Lots going on today. I started putting dirt around foundation yesterday. I was surprised that two loads did it pretty well. Problem we had been looking at is that the slope flows down into the shop. Sooo possibly that water would also flow into shop. That took a while today shaping a swale to divert water.

I'm curious as to why you didn't use expanding foam insulation?

That is going in shop. Not in budget for house.

FYI, in a previous house 25 years ago, the electrical service for the house ran downhill.  Apparently the conduit wasn't sealed properly and water would get in an come through the panel box.  No electrical issues but it sure was a pain in a finished walk out basement.

Always fun when the spaces get closed in and more formally defined...well unless you're the one hanging the sheet rock or slinging the tape and mud.;)

What will you be using in the shop for heat/ cooling? Mini-split(s)?

Will you have water/sink/ toilet in the shop?

Wall heights 7.5' or 8'? OH door 9x7?

I could send you the blueprint.

Mini split but the guy putting a/c in house said splits may not be the thing for shop . Want 7k for it.

Will have a sink.

Wall at 8' , center height to middle beam a guess at 10'. Door 8 h x 10 w.

Don't stick that one out too far it might come back in half:Laughing:
