July 17, 2025Jul 17 Author Popular Post Lots going on today. I started putting dirt around foundation yesterday. I was surprised that two loads did it pretty well. Problem we had been looking at is that the slope flows down into the shop. Sooo possibly that water would also flow into shop. That took a while today shaping a swale to divert water. shop door on this side. This is back with a rise of over 3 feet. they started on the ceiling on porch and insulation today. yesterday we picked out backsplash and floor . Not even sure why I was there, but I did get a couple vetos in. Got good news today Building install is the coming Wednesday. Edited July 17, 2025Jul 17 by Gerald

FYI, in a previous house 25 years ago, the electrical service for the house ran downhill. Apparently the conduit wasn't sealed properly and water would get in an come through the panel box. No electrical issues but it sure was a pain in a finished walk out basement.

July 24, 2025Jul 24 Author Popular Post Progress progress progress. Today septic tank went in. Shop building completed today. This is the all thread I installed yesterday to mount the mantle. 3/4 rods covered in blue tape. Will get pics of Sheetrock tomorrow.Shop door this week I hope. Will be a regular garage door insulated.

Will have a sink. Wall at 8' , center height to middle beam a guess at 10'. Door 8 h x 10 w. Don't stick that one out too far it might come back in half

Here are a few pics. master bedroom stairs looks like a lot of steps den, dining room, and part kitchen front bedroom Rain today made it a mess. Will probably regret but today salvaged a bit of Sheetrock for the vacuum room.

July 26, 2025Jul 26 Author Popular Post No it much going on today just me doing dirt work and prep for inside shop build. Put some pavers down at shop doors. Did a lot of dirt work. Tractor had so much clay stuck to it had to wash it . So much stuck in bucket had to use a shovel on it.
