I finished up he counter top. Added some bow tie inlays on the underside to strengthen the joint and added the mahogany edge banding. I sanded it up to 150 and will take it the rest of the way after I install it.

Busy day in the shop but got the countertop installed and everything put back together. Later tonight I will put the “ceramic coating” on the countertop.

Back to being productive. The “coffee nook” part of the room is complete. I am married to a non believer heretic who only drinks coffee very occasionally and my coffee maker has been banished to the laundry room 🤨

After another coat of the Hassui it was ready to put it all together. A few little trim items and a new doorstop and the room is complete. I have been informed that I will be making a set of entry doors into that area next. She wants mahogany frames with reeded glass and Wenge trim. I am going to use the Tectus hinges for the doors.
