Oops. Apparently I put a dent in the top of the Washer. Boss is not happy. ☹️

You might want to remind your Missus, that you can’t make an omelet without breaking some eggs!

The first of the uppers is finished. Tomorrow it’s on to the other two uppers.  Paul

The last carcass is done except for the backing. Now it’s on to the drawers. Looks like there will be about six drawers and eight pull out shelves. I’m definitely going to need more maple.  Paul

Another long day and drawers are almost done. Three more to go. I ordered the drawer slides today so I’m just about to start the demo of the room.  Paul

The stereo gear is for the TV in the family room. It was better to put it all in there where there was more room.

I got the clothes hanger rack up and continuing on with the lower cabinet. I had a tough time finding the studs on the clothes rack so I had to make two decorative cover plates to hide the holes.

Great way to "save" the project Paul.  Everything is shaping up most excellently :)

:Praise::Praise: I like what I see.

Behind every great wall-hung project of mine . . . . .

. . . . . is a long horizontal row of 1/16" holes, as I search for studs set before the invention of tape measures or standardized building methods.

Went back into drawer mode and finished up the end cap with its drawers. Next is an upper cabinet for the end cap which becomes the home for the coffee maker, cups and stuff.

Looking great Paul. What's the little bump-out about a foot from the door casing and behind the base cabinet? Assume some type of plumbing or electrical raceway? Just curious.

There was one on the left side that was part of the framing x for the pantry so she had me frame one in to match on the laundry room side. I should have left it out but I try to pick my battles. It will entail a filler piece on both the upper and lower so it effectively disappears I would have had to add the filler no matter what for the drawers to miss the casing.

I'm not such a manly-man that I can't tell it like it is . . .

It's beautiful, Paul! Those integral drawer pulls are smooth!

Today was spent putting another coat of finish on the drawers and making a door stop. I won’t actually mount the door stop without positional approval. Wherever I put it will be wrong !

Very cool Paul.

The boss definitely did not like the door stop. Said it looks like a chair leg stuck to the cabinet. I think I agree with her. Back to the drawing board.

Careful ! Not too many ideas! She might insist on a pocket door! Vertical operation, naturally, pneumatic powered, footpad-triggered for hands-free ingress.

Or better yet, "The Clapper" operated😁

Unsolicited idea.  Make a door stop that is articulated with the door opening and closing.

I know a juggler who'd love to have four or five of those!

Fine art. Ready for a design competition.

In '00 I was doing a plumbing job for an established furniture craftsman. His "studies", pieces he made to study the form before beginning the furniture item, were always interesting. I ended up with a few of them over that job and a second one.
