Less than 18 hours to go, and 2021 will be done, gone, kaput, outta here... :SaluteandRun:

Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" we're keeping both :BugEyeSmiley: on the weather forecast. The forecast is calling for 0-8+ inches of snow. :BitingNails:

We keep telling them that we'll take the 0" but have a feeling they're not listening. :PullingHair:

So I guess I'll have to figure out how to get that :ArguingSmileys: shovel started. :Tapping:

As to plans for the midnight changeover of years, we intend to be doing an intense study of the insides of our eyelids. :P

:ChinScratch: So,.. What's on Your New Years Weekend Agenda?

 Almost forgot... Happy New Year.

  • I had to put together some flat pack chairs.

  • I suspect that the translation was lost in translation.   Happy sit chair in peace and eating room!   ‘Do not use the problem with forceful insertion or further broken assurances.

Continuing on with the ceiling in the media room. This is the really boring and repetitive part. I also have to help Ileene carry about a thousand DVD’s up the stairs so she can start loading those dr

This morning I believe I will finish up a post or two on TPW :WonderScratch:

My afternoon will somewhat depend upon a couple of weathers also.  First weather is supposed to stop raining.  If so I may roll the planner outside and clean up some oak for our daughter's shadow box that was requested a short while back.

Second whether is whether or not I feel like doing that job today :P  I got to be doing something, but may decide on something else...

Later in the afternoon and evening there is a couple college bowl games on my agenda.  Go Dawgs!

Happy New Year to all my friends & family on TPW.  I don't always hit the 'net first thing in the morning, but when I do I hit up TPW!!! :D

Our ruckus NYE party, which is me going to bed around 9P or so, and Marie staying up to watch the ball drop, is still on. Otherwise, I have some tax work to do. IRS sent us a letter saying they haven't received our 2020 return. Which is odd, because they cashed the check I included with it when i sent it in. So I've got to send copies to them, but I'll also be taking a look at our 2021 situation. Then tomorrow I have to figure out how to cook pork chops and sauerkraut for Marie....I may just have a big Mac. I'm not real big on that pork chop tradition thing.

PS, should have mentioned. That letter from the IRS is Dated 11/22, but it got here on 12/29. From KC MO. to WC Ohio.

Will take down the decorations such as they are. May not depending on Ann. She likes the lights on the tree. We have a floor lamp shorting out which is going curbside today. Our daughter with her 2 daughters went back to Melbourne yesterday. We miss our daughter but not those brats. :)  Depending on the weather's cooperation may glue a free standing ornament. May cover the clementine tree to protect it from the light freeze.

Mrs. Grandma Grandpa Dave is off work today. Nothing good usually comes from a week day off. She left for Emerald City a little bit ago to meet up with our daughter on a quest for some of those after Christmas deals. I volunteered to go...I'm sad to report my generous offer was (emphatically) declined.

House is very quiet with the girls gone. Currently I'm enjoying a coffee while in my recliner and sharing the footrest with one of the cats. He's very intolerant if I move.

Tonight we'll revert back to traditional New Year celebration now that the house is empty; Set our phone alarms for 11:50P EST, set the TV timer for about the same, wake up in our chairs when the alarms chime, watch the ball drop, turn everything off, say Happy New Year, then go to bed. I plan to rest up today in preparation for such a major event.

To all my friends here on TPW, wishing you all and your families a Blessed and Happy New Year. Best to do this now just in case the snooze alarm fails.

I plan on ham and eggs for breakfast.  Pork is pork.  Staying home and playing in the shop some.

i've just been lazy the last few days, and have not returned stuff to where it belongs.

built a new shop in 2015 that is 25x50 (12' ceiling), and has a boiler with radiators, so usable all year long.  have it set at about 60F.

that's my main work bench, my TS outfield table is also full of stuff that needs to be put away.  sounds like something for next year.  :)

We won't be having our usual black eyed peas, turnip greens and cornbread tomorrow. I guess it is time to start a new tradition.
