Not as productive as you guys. Gonna help my son rip some boards for a cat window seat. He's found a cash cow of sorts. All sorts of old ladies now want cat window seats mounted outside a window. He gets as much as $800 for one. Of course he gets to use his forge and anvil on the costlier ones.

After the boards are sized, we'll be moving a 20' bare stud wall about 20' from the middle of the shop, over to one wall. This is the final obstacle to an open floor. Next comes insulation, wiring, lumber rack, more stud walls, etc....we're slowly gitt'n there.

I have a brother-in-law who's 15 years older than me.  He told me once he went to a HS class reunion.   He said, "I can't believe all those old ladies I once thought were hot young chicks."

Thankfully they don't call, email or write me about an reunion.  Seems it was assumed I died long time ago.  One of those many rumors that hey, embrace it cause if we haven't kept in touch there must be a reason.  :ChinScratch:

It was actually a combination of Christmas orders, gifts, and a couple of fundraiser donations.  And, it may be an addiction as well, but if it is, I should probably seek therapy and a self cleaning shop now because Christmas is coming!

It DID happen and I can prove it!:D

This is about half of the current order. These go the fastest so I get to make LOTS of them.

Will make sure the rest of the order gets shown if I ever get it done.

:ChinScratch:...Pretty much ditto.

Might be because the other Larry Buskirk's obituary was in the paper a few years back. (No relation)

..Trying to figure out how quoting Keith ended up as quoting me? :WonderScratch:

Well then there are a lot of happy people out there.  Your snowmen look fantastic.  I'm the same way with pens.  Like making them, love giving them away and seeing smiles from the receivers.  If you find a self cleaning shop see if they will give you a discount if you buy two.  I could sure use one.

Now that I have a building (not quite a shop, yet) with a large roll up door at one end, cleaning will be a breeze. Breeze supplied by a shop vac blower.

It has been windy, lately. But, depending on the day, it might come from any direction. Heck, it's been known to change direction 2 or 3 times in a day. :o It's usually out of the WSW. Unfortunately, the roll up is on the east end of the building.

The older daughter is making a blanket chest from solid Walnut I had sawed years ago.  Plan is 44 inches long and 18 by 18 wide and deep.  She has been working on gluing up panels with my help.  We are ahead of last year.  That is good.
