A idler pulley for a Toyota V6 timing belt. Will last forever. You couldn't abuse it enough to require replacement. :D

Where do I send it??:ChinScratch:

Thanks! I appreciate the offer. That was made years ago when I did a lot of flat work. I don't do that much since I started turning. Save it for when the Toyota needs a replacement. :)

we have a small craft show at a hotel an hour away. We aren't expecting much so tonight was spent loading up about half of our inventory. After the show tomorrow it's bring back the inventory and set it back up in our house for a customer visit Sunday afternoon.

Shop wise I have 25 pizza peels in the works to shape and taper. that will keep us busy until the end of next week.

Worked on the drawers for Coffee Bar today although the lathe drawers reorganization was tempting. Had to put a coat on to go to the shop. Guess my blood is getting thin

Always last minute hitches. The painter's Grandmother passed away. Unsure when he'll be able to start our job. We didn't get the backsplashes finished, yesterday. Electrical work took longer than anticipated plus, we had unexpected visitors. Gotta supervise the gravel distribution today. Might get the backsplashes finished in time to go out for a Valentine's meal tomorrow. Then, again....Who knows?

On a good note, Phyl got here first Moderna shot and is scheduled for the second one in 3 weeks.

:ChinScratch:...Wish it would get warm enough to get away with just a coat here. 2° shop temp with a forecast high of 13°. <_<

Yup, he wants people to know we are open.  I ate lunch in my car with the heat on.  No sense in sitting at my toolbox freezing cold.  :)

Hate to sound morbid but I’m building something for myself.  I’ve probably built 50 veteran flag cases and sold them all.  I found a beautiful piece of quarter sawn cherry so I’m building myself a flag case for my burial flag.  Just put the first coat of GF Arm-R-Seal on it today.

Driveways and other areas are now 99% graveled with 3/4"-1" whitish rock to a depth of 2". Need another couple of tons to complete the job.

Backsplashes are all on...WHEW!! Just a few areas needing attention. Will be totally done, today.  Front porch and back patio has received the first two coats of paint. Only touch ups remain. To be completed this coming week.

Next week, THE SHOP will receive my full and uninterrupted attention. Well...I'm hoping so, anyway. There'll always be the Honey Do things.

The previous owners left a pile of steel and aluminum out beside the shop building. Upon a more thorough investigation, it turned out to be a used 25'X35' awning. It has now been attached to the north 40' side of the shop. That's going to need a few ton of gravel, later. Use of the space has yet to be determined. Part of it may become a lumber storage area. We'll see.

Nope! A few tubes of Liquid Nails and pin nails. Wife decided that she wanted 5/16" gray painted Beadboard instead of tile. Faster, cheaper and looks pretty good. Ended up buying about 100 square feet with just small scraps left over.

Wow Gene, that looks rich!  Love the paint job.  What a change.

Looking good Gene. It seems like that kind of work never stops....

I have a question.....I wonder why the builders of windows don't use the same plastic as what the bottles are made of. Our house is 21 years old and some of the window panes is just standing in the hole where the plastic securing them in that hole used to be which is now crumbled up on the ground in little pieces?

And I just now swore off of watching those Alaska shows where the folks volunteer to live in that cold world. We are fixin to see the first 0 degree weather I have ever lived in , even for a day or two.

When driving from Phoenix to Kingman on 93? there is an electrical transmission line going over the top of those house size boulders over on the east side of the highway a few hundred yards away. On one round trip down that highway we witnessed trucks and people installing those lines... we still wonder how they got those big trucks up on top of each and every one and later we got to see that little two lane road turn into a good divided highway and I told Bernadette then I bet it would have been cheaper to have drilled through the boulders instead of having to blast them out of the way...Those rocks have got to be at least half of that 195 mile stretch of scenery. The electrical line goes over the top of the rocks

I just noticed Gene, I don't think you can pee off your front porch anymore! (At least not without the neighbors seeing you.) It's awesome, BTW.
