March 4, 20197 yr Popular Post comment_180926 Oldest grandson & I went out to eat after Cub Scouts Friday night. Pinewood racer is going through technical inspection over the next two weeks. Finished another (#3) of @Buckaroo's Wiregrass & Grits series. Whacked another possum and tossed it across the fence across the road. Some errands after church on Sunday. Week ahead: Normal stuff; Shop is closed...y'all know the rule "If your tongue sticks to the metal, too cold to work." Grand-daughters asked me to attend their Swim Team banquet Wednesday night. "Free" meal so I'm there. Oh yeah, shoveled the snow @lewmissed just West of him. Report

March 4, 20197 yr comment_180939 Went to bed Saturday night feeling a little dizzy.... woke up Sunday with full-blown vertigo! Son took me to the doctor this morning. He said it's just one of those things that happen as you age. I called him a young whipper-snapper and tried to hit him with my cane, but got dizzy and missed! Came home with some medication to try. Almost gone now. No power tools until the room stops spinning! John Report

BTDT; that was 15+ years ago so it just doesn't happen to "aged" people. NOT FUN...took me 3/4 months to return back to "normal." I had to do exercises where I'd lay flat on my back on the bed with my head hanging over the side until I felt like I was going to barf...straighten up, then rinse/repeat. BTW...kiss your pilot's license goodbye once your gyroscope has become unhinged. Report

John Hello John Something like that happened t me several years ago....have no idea what caused it. May have been simple dehydration. Lasted just a few days and never a repeat.
