Top is 3/4" x 21" x 26" table stands 32" tall...

Top has now been varnished...letting it dry overnight...

Varnish is Minwax "Warm Gloss Poly"....seems to work well for me...

I use that same stuff, thinned 50% with mineral spirits for some of my turnings.

Cleaned the old table off...

Yanked it up out of there..

Pallet wood...

New table was placed in that corner...

In the process of hauling this table upstairs..I FORGOT TO BRING THE TRIPOD ALONG..

Seems like shame to hide such a nice table in a corner where most will only notice the top.  Beautiful work begs a full display spot. 

 

Plan always was to place the new table back in that corner, as the old one was falling apart, and was too small..

 

IF I am going to all the trouble to build a new Table, regardless where it will be sitting, I intend to put the best work I can in that Project...because...someday, that table might be out in the open, getting showed off...

 

Merely needed a Project to use up that Maple stash...next Project, I am back to using Ash..

 

This Project is done..still have time for one more, this month?
