Phase #2 will start when the varnish in Phase #1 is dry.

Wish I lived closer. I'd stop by and help you watch it dry.;)

I use that same stuff, thinned 50% with mineral spirits for some of my turnings.

In the process of hauling this table upstairs..I FORGOT TO BRING THE TRIPOD ALONG..

Seems like shame to hide such a nice table in a corner where most will only notice the top.  Beautiful work begs a full display spot.  ;)

Plan always was to place the new table back in that corner, as the old one was falling apart, and was too small..:OldManSmiley:

IF I am going to all the trouble to build a new Table, regardless where it will be sitting, I intend to put the best work I can in that Project...because...someday, that table might be out in the open, getting showed off...

Merely needed a Project to use up that Maple stash...next Project, I am back to using Ash..:ChinScratch:

This Project is done..still have time for one more, this month? :WonderScratch:

Stay tuned...:cowboy:

Good philosophy. Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

I can still hear and see my dad saying, "if it's not worth doing well, it's not worth doing at all."
