You probably need to tone it down a bit. You're having WAAAAAY TOO MUCH fun!

Not to mention, you're running out of places to put things. ;)

Oh, I still have plenty of places to  put things. My goal for this project is to make it to 600 pieces  which when the frame is done will add 24 pieces. Stay tuned -more fun to come!!

Hi everyone

Added the setting sun and the apple tree branches which added 67 pieces to my Intarsia. I think I'm done adding stuff (maybe) so now I will complete the inlays and start working on final detailing and glue up. Still have the frame to do but getting closer to completion of this project. 640 pieces from 32 woods

Not sure I understand. Are these pieces just setting on the surface a need to be "let" in?

Thanks Lew

Everything is inlayed except the apple tree branches, eagle and windmill. Saving the best for last.:D

Hi Everyone

Well-after appox. 300 hours of drawing, tracing , cutting , fitting, shaping and detailing My Intarsia is now glued -up. Still have to do a little more detailing and build the frame and apply the final coats of finish but the hard part is done. :)

Thanks Dave-I appreciate your interest and comments while creating this project. This is the last piece in my son's custom   " The Aavegotchi Intarsia Collection" by Intarsia Mike. This has really been fun to create these one of a kind -as my son would say "Next Level" Intarsia pieces. I learned alot doing these projects and will continue to refine my techniques on a couple of new projects in the works. Stay Tuned-More fun to come.

Boy oh boy, "next level" doesn't begin to do this justice.  But I can't think of any better way to describe it either.  So, next level it is!  Super-D-Duper Bob
