Hi Everyone

Making good progress on my Intarsia project with the addition of  the upper pasture and tree line. Added 54 pieces from 3 woods for a total so far--489 pieces from 26 woods. Havin fun now!!

Got all of the pieces for the Mountain range drawn,  cut and  fit into place. Still have to do all of the detailing to bring it to life. Up to 503 pieces from 26 woods. Almost there!!

Thanks Bob-Choosing the right woods for color, grain and texture can be the most time consuming part of the project. The mountain range  is made from select cuts of Blue Mahoe chosen for the unique  color and grain, with holly for the snow caps.  Farm needs cattle. Stay tuned!:)

Got the boat and geese done which added 11 pieces and 2 new woods to my project. Not done yet! -stay tuned:)

Hi Everyone

Last week I worked on tightening things up, replacing some pieces, lots of detail carving and inlaying the geese, boat,  lilly pads and cattails into the background. This week will be spent inlaying the horses, windmill and sheep plus my newest additions-- the ram and butterflies. Stay tuned !!

I decided that the farm needed an eagle. Made from 6 pieces of madrone burl, holly and yellowheart. Detail pieces are getting smaller:D. See if you can find him! 561 pieces from 32 woods
