May 8, 20242 yr Author Popular Post Hi everyone Got the road to the barn cut and fit today. Whew! That was a tough one but got er done. Made from a piece of tight grained sycamore that I had to resaw to 3/16" and bookmatch to get the height as one piece. Think the farmer needs a tractor. Stay tuned

May 10, 20242 yr Author Popular Post "Farmer has a Tractor" Got the little tractor all cut out, shaped, textured and glued together. Added 16 pieces from 4 woods to bring the totals to 344 pieces from 23 woods. That was fun!!

Haven't been working on my Intarsia piece much this week,(Working on honey do projects) but did manage to cut out a couple more horses. The one on the left still needs lots more detailing but the "Paint" is ready to inlay. Added 13 pieces from 2 woods(one new} to bring the totals to 413 pieces from 25 woods.

June 4, 20241 yr Author Popular Post Hi All Been working on house projects so have had limited time for my Intarsia piece. I decided to begin the upper section of the project by building the little windmill which will set the stage for designing the other sections of the background. Added 14 pieces from 3 woods (one new) for a running total of 435 pieces from 26 woods. Gettin there!!
