Headhunter Posted July 3, 2024 Report Posted July 3, 2024 You probably need to tone it down a bit. You're having WAAAAAY TOO MUCH fun! Not to mention, you're running out of places to put things. Grandpadave52 and Intarsia Mike 1 1 Quote
Grandpadave52 Posted July 4, 2024 Report Posted July 4, 2024 I'd need an electron microscope to do this kind of detail. You da' man Mike...and not a single band-aid on your fingers either. Headhunter, Intarsia Mike and lew 2 1 Quote

My goal for this project is to make it to 600 pieces which when the frame is done will add 24 pieces. Stay tuned -more fun to come!! Popular Post Intarsia Mike Posted July 7, 2024 Author Popular Post Report Posted July 7, 2024 (edited) Hi everyone Added the setting sun and the apple tree branches which added 67 pieces to my Intarsia. I think I'm done adding stuff (maybe) so now I will complete the inlays and start working on final detailing and glue up. Still have the frame to do but getting closer to completion of this project. 640 pieces from 32 woods Edited July 7, 2024 by Intarsia Mike Headhunter, lew, DuckSoup and 2 others 2 3 Quote
lew Posted July 7, 2024 Report Posted July 7, 2024 Not sure I understand. Are these pieces just setting on the surface a need to be "let" in? Cal, DuckSoup and Grandpadave52 3 Quote

This is the last piece in my son's custom " The Aavegotchi Intarsia Collection" by Intarsia Mike. This has really been fun to create these one of a kind -as my son would say "Next Level" Intarsia pieces. I learned alot doing these projects and will continue to refine my techniques on a couple of new projects in the works. Stay Tuned-More fun to come. Grandpadave52, Cal, lew and 1 other 2 2 Quote

Popular Post Cal Posted July 20, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted July 20, 2024 Boy oh boy, "next level" doesn't begin to do this justice. But I can't think of any better way to describe it either. So, next level it is! Super-D-Duper Bob lew, Headhunter, Grandpadave52 and 2 others 4 1 Quote
