Sorry I haven’t been on the forum for a while. At this point I am about half done with the door project. It’s pretty boring at this stage. Hopefully I will be able to get them done in about 4-5 weeks at this point. I have it down to about 3-4 days per door but this time of year there are a lot of distractions !

Yes just busy with the boat and lobster season.

Ok back on the job. Time to begin the upstairs doors. I’m getting a start on it but it’s going to be slow going. February is a busy month.

No we don’t do traps Artie. We go night diving and catch them by hand. We LOVE night diving.

I was dutifully informed fun time is over so it’s back to doors. Have six more to go. I glued up all the components months ago so today was sizing and mortising for the frames. Next is the mortising for hinges and locksets.

Finished all the door mortising for hinges and lockets. Now the jambs.

So it was Easter in the shop today. Together we completed milling up all the jambs and getting them ready for mortising.
