Not too bad of a wood pile from a single battery charge.

BTW that's seasoned in place "Hop Hornbeam" otherwise known as "Ironwood" in these parts.  Believe me "Hard Stuff"

I, for one, am impressed!

SWMBO has decreed that patio furniture will be built.
It shall be “modern” with “elegant lines”, a sofa and two single chairs.
It shall be “comfortable” and use “cushions from Lowe’s”

So after some hasty design work this evening to figure out about how many BF I will need for this project, tomorrow will be a scramble to try to get some materials together and get to work on things.

Sounds like you're gonna have a few busy, fun filled days. A great addition to the patio, though. And, best of all, momma will be happy.

Learned something yesterday. Hydrogen peroxide de bonds super glue. On fingers, anyway. There. That’s my contribution to the common good for today. Stay tuned. After more wake up juice, there may be more pearls of wisdom forthcoming. Probably not, though. I'm usually only good for one a month, or so.
During one of my short lived spurts of productivity yesterday, two 10” by 30” walnut panels got glued up. Only 10 more to go. Hope to increase the rate of production today. Let’s see how many spurts of activity I can string together. Man...I'll be sooo glad to have these tables gone. No project in recent memory has caused me more consternation than this one. IDK if it's age or just life getting in the way. But, the end of the job is near. Well, nearer than it was last week.

Monday, there's an appt with the eye doctor, which will likely result in another appt for minor surgery. Then, we leave for IL on the 29th.  Progress on the tables will resume sometime???in June. Maybe, by July....more likely...August, boxes and bowls can be started. Crossed fingers.

"Curb Shopping" is done for now.

At least I think it's done. :ChinScratch:

I hope it's done.

Only three vans to unload, but where the heck is he going to put it? <_<

Well, it has become obvious that I need more clamps that have over a 3’ capability.

4x 4’ just isn’t enough.  That said, the parts / pieces for the patio chair prototype are cut out and glued up at least for one side.

I am going to have to wait for that one to dry to glue up the other side piece (see lack of long enough clamps above)…

Doing simple dowel joinery with this one and we will see how it goes.

painted the Canales (all 17 of them) today.

had one replaced last week, the others appeared to be in decent shape, so some sanding, some scraping, little caulking of open gaps between the wood and the stucco, all better for the next few years.  now if it would be so kind as to rain and put them to use.....

Sure wish I could send you some of ours. We seem to get a batch cooked up every other day except on the days it's raining.

Hasn't been here for some time or at least since I've been back. I think he's active on a couple other forums still.

There were at least 8-10 van loads I didn't get pictures of before these three vans.

Found out last night he's not done yet. :JawDrop:

I gotta say at least you get pretty detailed specs for your project.

Initial specs are the result of reviewing several thousand posts on Pinterest with her and asking "do you like this one?"

Also all specs are subject to change at any time :)
