Friday again 

Where the heck did the week go? 

Must have lost a day or so roaming those steam tunnels located "Two Weeks From Anywhere". 

The project continues with searching for the last few parts needed to totally resuscitate the roughly 65 year old boiler system. 

So as I spend some time searching this marvelous world wide web and making a few (lots of) phone calls...

BIL & SIL should be pulling in around noon. Until then, I'll piddle around in the shop. No sense in doing much on the table builds. Won't be getting back to them for a couple weeks, at least. Guests will be here for a month. I'll steal some shop time, here and there.

Weather forecast for today & tomorrow is a great 70*

Today I plan to get the mirrors & glass sandblasted for the first window sash.  May even get the first colors on.  Lots of prep work before it goes into the blast cabinet for that 1-2 minutes.

Tomorrow I should be able to finish up the painting and maybe even paint the second sash.

Sunday is back to cold mid 50's.  So, inside stuff.  Taxes, maybe assemble this first sash.  I have to get some colored paper before assemble - may have to take a trip to town for that.

Oh, I think there's a ball game on this weekend I will try to watch.  No team is favored, just want for a good game.

Got next shelf up installed.

 

Still on 'Light Duty' so I'm just puts'n around in the shop, waiting for the 'Big Game' on Sunday. No Dog in the fight but I've seen them all so I can't break that run off just because I don't care who wins. I've seen a few this way and it's not a bad way to watch a game.

Think I'm all ready; of course I'll still have to suffer through all the after-game reports om Monday. I mentioned before...I'm not a fan.

 

And don't forget Monday is Valentines Day

Well, you should live near Cincinnati.  All the news all week has been Who Dey Bengals football  Last week it was daily 2.5 hours of weather, complete with Jr. reporters out in the weather, kicking around the slush.    I've watched 4 football games this season, 2 of OSU and 2 of Bengals. post season.

The news I watch most is out of Dayton, so I've had my fill of all the hoopla.

That's grillin' out weather. Adding Sundays high+low we won't see half of that.

Late to the party. Been watching livestream of youngest grandaughter's D3, College Conference swim prelims. She's doing pretty well considering she lost 10 days of training recently due to COVID.  Swam a personal best yesterday in 500 yd freestyle and today in the 100 yd breaststroke. Competes again tonight in breaststroke finals and a relay.. More prelims tomorrow AM and hopefully finals tomorrow night. She's swimming 1650 freestyletomorrow, plus another relay.

 

Watching an on-line, woodworking tools only, auction; never dealt with this company; odd, bids went crazy first couple of days, then literally nothing has occurred last five days. It closes tonight.

 

Just made a batch of SW, white, chicken chili for dinner tonight. Some other domestic duties await too. Church Sunday (assuming we can chip through all the ice). May watch some of the SB, IDK?...too much politics and too little football anymore.

An estate sale tomorrow. I saw a couple of hand screw clamps in the photos.

Drab,dreary 43 degrees outside, with a few rain showers....NO snow...and what IS still around is getting washed away..yay!
