This explains a lot.  The fittings are available at big box around here, but Schedule 30 (thin wall) is not kinda.  It is available but it is sold perforated for drainage applications.  

They sell the nonperfed triple wall ( drain pipe ) along with fittings at several plumbing supply places around town. It’s cheap and light. Let me know if you need the name of the place.

You might want to rethink what you have started. Those 90 degree corners will slow your airflow. Use two 45's or a wide 90 (usually electrical pipe) to reduce the amount of loss. I have looked back at mine and wished that I had used a larger trunk line to branch off of too. Looks like a really nice shop build.

 

I do not know the schedule but there are two different thin wall and as you said one is perforated. The other is solid and I think classed as drainage  line.

I just drill a hole. Shop looks like carpenter bees have been by for a visit.

Used a piece of 1 1/2 angle I had. Painted it up all pretty like.

 

Magnet on end of light is 30lbs.  Doesn't move easily, nevermind fall. Can be moved all along top.

 

12 volt LED light, 30 watts.

Show off. What's wrong with storing them like the rest of us...under the bench, back against the wall with the lost washers, screws and saw dust?

Not to be picky, but MY pencils are mostly so short that I'd need a pair of pliers to fish them out of that!

That ides fits my short pencils better! What I've done in the past is drill a 1" deep hole (or 2) in a piece of scrap wood, glue a magnet into a second hole in the bottom, and stick it to any steel surface nearby.

Well, the weekend is nearly gone. It was a full one, though. Saturday, while I was grabbing a new to me bandsaw that Paul @Masonsailorhad graciously gifted me, my half sister and, her hubby arrived at the house. We had a great visit for a couple days and, now they're headed home to WY. The rest of today is reserved for football and, very possibly, a nap....or two. 

Tomorrow, will see the new to me bandsaw installed on the FrankenSmith. That may become a permanent installation. Frank is only used for ripping operations and, using the router that hangs off the other end. plenty of room for the bandsaw, too. We'll see.

Gene, normally I leave one bandsaw on the left side of the machine. The only times I remove it is when I need the extra space for sawing or lathe or change out for the other bandsaw. One has a thin blade and the other is set up for resaw. Otherwise I am too lazy to move it.

Had a little time to get out in the shop today so I started “organizing” some stuff.

 

 

I like that PVC trick Michael, I may redo my drill rack to incorporate it!

I shamelessly stole it from somewhere and had some extra tubing floating around from building the dust collection but it works pretty well.
