Well all be dog gone! Great to have ya back Gramps! I completely missed you here, you are one of the positive forces in our community who I always loved reading and just knowing you were here was always a great comfort.

I am very happy you made it out alive over the past couple years, you sure had your challenges, and ups and downs, but here you are and as far as I am concerned, the world is right, once again!

Thanks Bob. Since the pandemic began and my wife found out she can order most things online for pickup we rarely go in there anymore. What a blessing. Shoot they'll even ship oil, oil filters and new underwear to my front door for free so no reason to take a chance of being abducted.

I became suspicious when they left me in the woods on a camping trip then told me they needed to go to town for marshmallows. Boy were they surprised when they saw I found my way back home.

Thanks John. Quite humbling and kind words especially for a "deserter." I'm  sure others had equal or greater challenges in life yet still managed to maintain a presence. We all have to learn to drink from a fire hydrant at times. No right or wrong way really just different methods.

 

I'm overwhelmed by the kind words and inviting welcome from the great people here. Not surprised though, because all of you have made TPW such a family community. I'm blessed to be considered a small part.

Well Dave I joined while you were abducted so I don't really know you. From the comments others know you stranger but some of us in this town have learned to be, how do  you say, cautious. We've had aliens, hell there are people here who make stuff from dead trees. We suspect some may have voted for Nixon. Then there's Artie who even the aliens are afraid of. So welcome back stranger, but remember, we're watching.

 Actually, with the growth in membership I think he had to trade that one in for something that held more people. This one also has more cupholders.

They’re not really afraid of me, they’re just avoiding me. Last time they beamed me up I had just finished my Mexican dinner. I asked one of them to pull my finger. Apparently their sense of smell is much more highly developed than ours  .
