Not yet. Got some clean up to do first. But, I'll get some today.

Finally got mother's shoe rack/seat finished.  Good thing she's a patient woman. 

 

Wanted to try the breadboard ends on the hickory top.  Needed some work with the belt sander.   Those soft close supports were a bear to install - note the repairs to the top.  The second shelf was an afterthought.

It's not that bad.  Plywood walls make a lot of sense in a shop.  Not so different from my workspace.

My preference would have been to use plywood throughout but, not at today's prices. And, the boss insisted we use up the scrap we had.

We bought too much light tan paint for the undersides of the patio and porch. Ms Frugality would have a conniption fit were I to suggest any other colors.

But, I might be able to get by with red, white and blue for the other wall of pallet wood.

It actually doesn't look as bad as I had envisioned, good use of scrap I'd say.

Just tell her a brighter color would make for a better lighted shop and be easier on the old peepers.
