About an hour and a half tonight....clamps came off the top, and the legs.... Worked on these, first...rather than use one of my "good" planes to remove the dried glue...I used the tablesaw

I even opened the shop..on.. a.. Monday?   Was feeling lucky, I guess.   Plywood cut to size.  Screws at the ready....drawer back was a 1/16" too long..:BangingHead:..trimmed that back...laid out all the parts..:ChinScratch:

729384970_Leftoverswarzone.JPG.5022a319b7639deebfda64facb5f4bab.JPG

Package of screws?   I didn't NEED a huge box of gold plated screws, when less than a dozen will do..:WonderScratch:

1574265713_Leftoversnewscrews.JPG.7d215b2e4452f283eecedf1cc8b68254.JPG

Chased down the bottle of glue, and a mallet...first side..

1439400141_Leftoversfirstdrawersidegluedup.JPG.5a5036ccb3b56b73287757f05a01dfe0.JPG

Plywood helps to keep things square..then the other side..

917663460_Leftoversseconddrawersidegluedup.JPG.0eca6a5f6cb57b6a89ba734705dc4e31.JPG

Glue in the dados..slide the back in place...needed pilot holes drilled...

1434431781_LeftoversPilotholedrillnewscrews.JPG.7566f60f0a8657eb830a600f7d881d8d.JPG

Then install a few screws..

1332116280_Leftoversnewscrewsinstalled.JPG.b8dc0af9c5decee22e05e8059a723ff0.JPG

Then, check the drawer for square...I don't mind a little "toe-in", trying to avoid the "toe-out"...then a couple clamps, as these need clamped up..

2067747101_Leftoversdovetailsgluedup.JPG.4a02d4a397bb9b25bf1c6687dd9e6664.JPG

So..

2049764979_Leftovers2clamps.JPG.7b695c92beb3ebe9fd6def4aae27cba6.JPG

2 seemed to be enough...tried the drawer out, to see IF it will slide in..

2125679594_Leftoverstestfittingthedrawer.JPG.7398e20c294b6a9b6dde5c26ad74a127.JPG

Works for me...needed to work on the top of the table...needed to be ON the floor, NOT on top of the dryer...but, where?

2113067052_Leftoversneedthisspacecleared...JPG.9f0c6378aeaf664726b188856a5a0d77.JPG

Hmm, clear this out a bit...don't need too much room..

1227102888_Leftoversspacecleared...JPG.65308c56d439eb56daed1ad236619624.JPG

This will work...Need to cut a radius on each corner of the top...sharp corners and kneecaps don't like each other...got out the High Tech Radius Jig...

23118693_Leftoverscornerjig.JPG.40da48d65a6c1dd916b8f2f6cb7c495c.JPG

Lay out a few lines..then a Vintage saw..

629304114_Leftoverscornercutter.JPG.47621030f7b115359050ce739685e750.JPG

To cut the lines...had to place my knee on the table top, to keep the table from walking away..front two done..cleaned up with the beltsander..

1067236406_Leftoversfront2done.JPG.e05b56ad14e7a81afa63f0b7577ecadf.JPG

Then rotate around, and do the back two corners...then up onto the bench, and a round-over bit was run around...then sanded it all to 100 grit...

2098163565_Leftoversback2doneround-overransanded.JPG.b34028e65030172b151b20b8e4d0d285.JPG

Gave just the top a coat of stain..

312104710_Leftoverstopstainedbeforethewipedown.JPG.764c56f898979e6ba078c3839cbae6ec.JPG

Let this sit a bit, before I wipe it down...looked at handle choices...more like the 3 Bears...

1222152499_Leftovershandlechoices.JPG.7b77ea67596f9e5a93b9bff9ba7d7974.JPG

Too fat, too small, and one....maybe

1831797978_Leftoverstoobigmaybe.JPG.90908ec57b44f2e12709822342ddb154.JPG

too long?   back to the top, gave it a good wipe down..

954858168_Leftoversafterthewipedown.JPG.930e5a52c0b76b30f6b51b37f308c70a.JPG

Tried to match up the grain...sap wood at the back..then heart wood the rest of the way...like a single fancy slab...

Worki holding?

2005252369_Leftoversworkholdingmoretodo.JPG.215f5358c91a57e9acb9f50131721648.JPG

Letting the top dry, then work on the rest of the table...and look at more handle choices...

Stay tuned  :cowboy:

316766716_Leftoversmorehandlechoices.JPG.d11a6e4ce7ba057736dd83c167936a9b.JPG

Leaning more towards the bottom one in this picture....:ChinScratch:

Well...drawer front was stained, after the dovetails had been cleaned up...

1254265252_Leftoverscleaneddovetailsstained.JPG.43693ea94eeba6615138e55826e1dba5.JPG

I rarely ever stain the sides of a drawer...too good of a chance the finish will cause it to stick...drawer was test fitted..

1036747517_Leftoversdrawerfitsstained...JPG.2e77509c04be0dec544235bd858bfc3d.JPG

And a handle selected..

1391787800_Leftoversselectedhandle.JPG.2c9716432bc5b01d3ec0af83482a9532.JPG

Brass plating was starting to flake off, wire wheel cleaned things up.

41838952_Leftovershandleinstalledtablestained.JPG.79abc657a53e46b283b1d056ba2f2e2c.JPG

Handle installed, table has a wiped down coat of stain..

1138681818_Leftoversbackofthestainedtable.JPG.fc1e03012c40c4b099fd02ec678b63ee.JPG

Front, before the handle..and...

165425819_LeftoversPIPawaitingvarnish.JPG.f64bc4a4813e50ad008adfee6fd2357c.JPG

Now waiting on the stain to dry, before the varnish goes on...guess this is a "PIP"?

Late is really a subjective term.  I mean what exactly is "late"?  5 minutes or 3 hours???   :ChinScratch:

Depends on the circumstances. 15 seconds late for the bathroom can be disastrous. :OldManSmiley:

That's a great looking table Steve, great use of leftovers. Nice choice of color.
