Mowing, mowing, and more mowing if the weather cooperates. <_<

Other than that, still trying to figure out if I've got enough stuff for a project. :WonderScratch:

Might some short time in the shop this week. Marie has another back surgery a week from tomorrow and this week has several appointments ahead of that. Otherwise it looks like it will rain every day so no outside stuff will get done, which puts me in the shop.

Hey Fred, with the rain in your neck of the woods, what's the temps like this time of year?

After last weeks doc appt & blood work I have a tele visit later this morning to go over the results.  Since the results were online I already have them and the only number out of line is the PSA which has been climbing for several years.  Still not as high as it has been, but I expect he wants me to go back to the Urologist... :(

Likely begin a project or two this week, or at least getting up the sketches and materials.

We.re warmer than usual this year, today we'll be in the low 70s...but normally we would be in the low-to-mid  60s. A standard warning here is to not plant anything until after Mother's day because we have a good chance of frost until then. So the lows around this time of the year are normally in the upper 30s/low 40s.

Started playing around with more of those tiny hollow forms. Mimi found some plastic "test tubes" that fit into them and now wants more to give away.

What did you get done over the weekend, Short answer, nothing fun except maybe the soccer match.

From Friday's To do: refill all mowing gas containers;☆ change oil/filter/ service wife's Jeep; ☆ replace RS running light bulb in Buick; ☆ nothing fun about that job;  early voting for primary; ☆ grandson's soccer match; ☆, 2-2 tie; get a couple string trimmers running, didn't happen; church responsibilities Sunday, ☆☆;

Additionally: install new large print rain gage☆, gather recycling then trip to recycle center☆; clean, prep oriole feeder station☆, clean (5) and place hummingbird feeder stations☆; whole bunch of some other stuff☆; domestic dutiescoffee☆; donuts--nadda; nap(s)NONE

Coming attractions: called in to active duty early this AM; youngest grandson is puny; couple monthly meetings at the church; maybe mowing depending on weather; still need to get those weedeaters running; need an errand run to town for numerous items; whole bunch of other stuff.

Was minding my own business at restaurant when a table full of woodworkers were arguing about tool storage.   One saw my ASE patch on my shirt and inquired on my thoughts.

If you don't like my answer maybe don't ask?  They were focused on putting wrenches on pegboard hooks.  On the wall.  Wasteful in my opinion.  You already have a toolbox. Organize them in neat rows and call it a day.

What do I know?

Ok..THAT was FUN..lack of a shop fan is slowing things down a bit

#3 Stile needed a groove, done did..had a sliver break out, glued back in place..have to wait a day..

#4 Stile needed a groove, done did...put Stanley No. 45 out of the way...set up the Mortise Jig...

#4 Stile now has all 9 mortises done...need to wait on #3 Stile..

Need a way to hold those raised panels still, long enough to fine tune the rebates, as a few are way too FAT..

Taking a break, sitting by the AC Unit..trying to dry out..is it too early for a cold Beer?
