8:38P, EST; got the 403-Forbidden again briefly. Refreshed screen, took about 10 seconds then allowed me in.

 

Site seems to be slow going from page to page. All was working well an hour or so ago.

Thank you gents for you reports. Please keep reporting this issue here, I am still working on blocking the abusive IP Addresses that are causing these issues. Thank you!

Just got a 508 Resource limit reached. 11:54 AM CDT

Got the day off today gents, I'll dig more into this, I have been in contact with the folks who host our server and they are only able to guide me through the process of troubleshooting this issue. And I am starting to get out of my wheel house on this one, but I'm plugging away and reading and learning.

I can tell you that much of the unwanted traffic seems to be coming from Israel, and the traffic is exhausting our resources, and when our resources are exhausted our site shuts down and we get that pesky 503 error.

I have been reading up on issues Israel is having with their servers and they are getting hacked by their enemies, Russia is a major pain in the rear for Israels computing services apparently, and other pro Hamas hacktivist groups.

So for now I blocked the IP Addresses coming in from certain areas of Israel, we'll see if that helps, thanks for every ones patience once again

So far so good Gramps, been keeping an eye on the resource usage monitor and so far nothing is causing it to sky rocket, fingers crossed!

I just disabled it Larry, it's part of our new protection I configured, that was just a visual that is un necessary.

You must have just disconnected it, I couldn't get past that screen even after letting it run for over 5 minutes.

That's not the way it's supposed to perform, should of only lasted a few seconds and only once when you initially come on the site. Thanks again for the report.

I had to close tab on tablet, open new tab, do a search for thepatriotwoodworker. It still took ~10 seconds before it took me to the site. On phone, refreshed screen a couple of times it then returned. This post is from my phone. Easier to post pictures because I'm basically lazy.

Guess I was next in-line today. Froze the tab; had to close it, new search for TPW; page restored.

1st photo tonight..took almost too long to load....the other 5 weren't a problem...

 

No notices,,,just slow to wake up....about like me?
