Most excellent Bandit. Another vintage plane will rest better tonight.

A double blessing for everyone. It is a wonderful thing Gramps! I hope they have a wonderful time meeting this family. And, selfishly, this has taken a huge load off of me as well, and I can't thank Lew enough

This will let me get through my day a little easier with less frequent switching between apps. My favorite monitor is that third one top right! How cool is that!
December 13, 20223 yr Called the local Chrysler dealer yesterday, just shy of $4200.00 before employee/retiree discount for new complete transmission. Parts person is going to have to get back to me on just the case. He told me he can find a part number for everything but the case. He must have been looking at the same diagram/parts list I did. It gives a part number for everything except the case.
December 13, 20223 yr Popular Post Just officially finished my Christmas shopping. Daughter finally gave up the letter to Santa . Thank you Amazon! BTW the "new" monitor will be son's old one because he asked (is getting) for a larger one for Christmas. .40 Edited December 13, 20223 yr by forty_caliber

December 13, 20223 yr Got the Kissmas Tree set up. My three daughters responded that they have theirs up too. One of them said the kisses are gone already. Yesterday was not a fun day. We seemed to be having some freezer problem Saturday. Picked up some dry ice later in the evening. But then Sunday, it appeared to be working OK. So we thought maybe the wife did not get the lid closed completely. I got home yesterday afternoon and the buzzer was going off and the compressor was not working. Some quick online checking, then a run to Lowe's with the trailer. Got a neighbor to help slide down the outside steps to the basement, then unload the old one, swap positions, load up the new one. I'd be nice if freezers gave you a bit more warning that they were going to fail. That plus the replacement planer is going to blow the budget. Just hoping disasters don't occur in threes this time. I don't think I'll have a problem getting rid of it, about half the people around here have horses, chickens, llamas or some of each. they use them to hold feed in the barn and keep the critters out.

That's exactly what happened to us, and I had the same solution (except for the planer part). I'm pretty sure freezers are programmed to go out in that way. Edited December 14, 20223 yr by Fred W. A lot of listings showed "broken case". I did see a few cores listed, that may be the only way to get just the case. What prices were listed were all over the board.

Now checking with someone I know that goes to the auto auctions.

At the end of term on a college campus and lots of dorm frigs are going in trash as they have no way to haul home. It works very well only 6 holes , thermostat, computer fan and light socket.
December 14, 20223 yr Popular Post And then there were none. All 46 DTC's finally gone. All systems reporting they're ready for duty. Manual? Who needs a stinking manual?
December 14, 20223 yr Well, the third disaster came up today. The truck was having some intermittent brake lock-ups in the driveway. Had it towed to the shop and it turns our the brake parts are rusted to pieces and need to be replaced. Going to be a whopper of a Visa bill in January.
