Glad you like it @John Morris The top is a cross cut section of mesquite with a couple coats of resin.

The base is simply a few coats of poly followed by Trewax.

    This section comes up 44 1/2 inches from the floor.  Just the right height for the wainscoat type of treatment I would like for my office.  Might just cover it up and say, out of sight, out of mind and be done with it. :TwoThumbsUp:
