Android phone and windows PC.

I don't take advantage of all the features available. Just read/respond to the forum posts. Consequently, it's not awkward for me.

It’s like we’re brothers from different mothers!

Great idea.  Then everyone who has tiktok experience can tutor the truly needy.

As long as the pros, or anyone else, doesn’t insult other posters, everyone should be welcome.

I’m convinced i know everything about anything … but i won’t give electrical advice, or fishing, or brain surgery. 😜

I used to own a boat, and I GUARANTEED the fishing. I just didn’t guarantee the catching.

I don't see those same problems here. Gangs etc. Unless I'm blind to it.

YEAH, Al and me don’t wear our colors when we’re having one of our TPW New England chapter luncheons.

Dang, talk about contentious! I can make an immediate comparison to our folks over here, let's say folks did disagree with jwoodcraft, here, non of our folks would be so contentious, they would politely state their case and not resort to heavily charged remarks with tons of inferences about experience or lacking thereof, I am completely thankful for our mature audience here, thank you all!

Buttons popping right now!

Thanks Billy for some enlightenment. I don't get out often, doesn't look like I'm missing anything.

MATURE? Another word I don’t hear too often! :)

I've often been advised to act my age. I don't know how. I've never been this age before.

Hey, I haven't been in my shop for over almost 2 months I need some normal mature trashing.

Some are there for the woodworking. Some are there for the argument and some choose not to come back at all. When  a forum looses that friendliness, you lose members as well.

Likes and dislikes. I’m not a fan of post counts..

Making a uneducated guess, overall cumulative post counts for a site serves as one metric to measure success as well as determine the degree of a sponsor commitment.

I have to bet that Dave's correct, the traffic almost certainly has some financial implications...at least for the forums that have a sponsor. But I'd bet it could be counted without being posted publicly. That aside, I know some folks feel the more posts you have the more experienced a ww'er you are. Lastly, it also serves as a sort of seniority, and that might be useful if you're buying something from a fellow forum member and want to sen them a check, etc. But to me, they really don't matter much, either way.

A lot of traffic comes with a lot of opinions, etc.

I don’t use one post count as experience. I know several so called woodworkers who spend most  of their time in off-topic.

But that’s  okay. You’re here to enjoy

Looking around… There are too many categories…

Router  Forums has….. “Powertool  Manuals”

”Machinery, tools, research, etc” should just be called “Shop”

I do kinda like a “Shop jigs” forum..

i buy a lot of used tools. Nice to have a place to locate some of the manuals..

Billy, we have our downloads area that you all can submit all kinds of files and manuals, here at https://thepatriotwoodworker.com/files/

At this point really nobody uploads and shares their files, as much as I've promoted this wonderful feature to our members in the past, nobody seems to want to utilize it, but if you all would like a category to upload manuals for tools and machinery, I'd be happy to create a category for that, if you all will absolutely use it. Excellent suggestion, I love it.

Problem is I’m not a computer guy. I’m not much on PDF files..

Some places online you kinda have to jump hurdles to get downloads.. As time goes by, manuals get harder to get…

A few months ago I downloaded the Omnijig manual and printed it off. I have the Omnijig video tape, but no longer have a VCR.
