Go back and tell them they didn't toss it all out. You would appreciate if they toss the rest while you wait.

  • Wow, that's a nice table. If it were a fiddle, I'd analyze at the encrusted perimeter of grime. A bridge table? Or more likely used by a right-handed person writing weekly notes, administering monthly

After two more loads like above, I went "Curb Shopping" yesterday.  Found a bunch of good stuff, but what made my day opening up a box.    Robinair A/C Manifold Gauge Set. W

Missing the eye shields, but they only get in the way anyway.

All tools came from the same pile and all work.

:ChinScratch:May have to check with @lew, found a couple of boxes full of computer software.

Not sure what some of it is, or if it's current. Mix of Mac & Windows.

Bunch of Adobe Photoshop etc.

Working jewelry items on the buff, the low HP grinder is essential to keeping your fingers.

I've heard machine shop guys say their grinders were run 24/6.5 at times. Just a half day off per week.

I prefer using a 1725 RPM motor for buffing, seems to give a little better control. ;)

Can’t remember rpm. Only that I had a few cold-sweat heart-pounding instances when buffing 30+ sterling bangles at a sitting. A couple of finger jerks. Buffing the 3-ring interconnected bangle was most challenging. And thin large pieces. And that was with 1/6 HP.

Younger days. I’d sponsor an artisan if I had the right room with light and  location …

Evidently the box for a 1940s W9 Stanley Safety saw is fair trading material. I might drag it along some time to a wood-centric flea market.
